Camp RiverRidge is our exciting summer environmental program for kids in second through twelfth grade.  Our campers investigate environmental topics while exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah River.  They also meet the wild animals of the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center, and receive art lessons from a local artist/naturalist, Doug Pifer of Rainbird Studios.  Our day programs take place Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.  Campers enrolled in our 4th - 5th grade programs also get to participate in a two night camp sleep-over where they eat s-mores around the campfire, sleep in cabins, and participate in a variety of exciting camp activities.  6th - 8th graders can attend our week-long sleep-over camp.  Our Adventure Camp takes 9th - 12th graders backpacking for three days in Shenandoah National Park and finishes the experience with an overnight canoeing trip down the Shenandoah River.
